In late April of 1981, the year we started J.L. Bainbridge & Company, the S&P 500 hit a record: 132.87. (Yes, you read that right. It was 132.87.) Countless ups and downs in the markets later, we’re still here, doing what we love. By the way, in April of this year (2021), the S&P 500 surpassed 4,000. More ups and downs are inevitable.
